Display Ads

You insert either text or a graphic image (GIF/JPEG) of your ad that will appear in a Display Ad Box in the right column. Moving a cursor over your Display Ad Box opens a wide Slideout Window in the center column next to your Display Ad Box. You insert either text or a graphic image (GIF/JPEG) of your ad in the Slideout Window. See the sample Display Ads in the right column.

Your Display Ad will appear in the location you select on AuthorConnect.
Before you insert your ad, look around the AuthorConnect site to determine the location where you want your ad to appear.
Your Display Ad can link directly to your own web site, e-mail AND AuthorConnect entry.
Display Ads that have more distant expiration dates appear higher on the page.
You may return at any time to modify your Display Ad free.
After completing your Display Ad, you may quickly duplicate it in additional locations on AuthorConnect.
Top Display Ads may be purchased for many locations, and always appear at the top of the right column. There is only one Top Display Ad available for any location.
First Page Display Ads may be purchased for AuthorConnect databank search results pages. Search results may be many pages long. If the location you select is a databank search result and you purchase a First Page Display Ad, your ad will always appear on the first page of the search results.
Display ads may be single or double height.
• Single height boxes in the right column are 90 pixels high by 150 pixels wide.
• Single height Slideout Windows in the center column are 90 pixels high by 400 pixels wide.
• Double height boxes in the right column are 180 pixels high by 150 pixels wide.
• Double height Slideout Windows in the center column are 180 pixels high by 400 pixels wide.
