SYNOPSIS

Tiny pricks of Novocain

Anesthetize my aching jaw.

Strap my nose with Nitrous O

And I will open wide once more.

Grind my white embedded roots

As tooth dust flies through yellow air.

Suck my spit and bleeding gums

While I reflect in your long chair.

Chunks of chocolate, M&M's

Obliterate my teeth and will.

Reese's, Twix and Tootsie Pops

Invade my smoke-free body. Still,

Fit the porcelain false beside

My bicuspid, encrested gold.

When we're done, will I indulge

My sweet tooth or a butt, hand-rolled?
